Fury for a Feast is an annual food drive and fundraiser that raises funds and non-perishable food items for local food banks in our community.

Over the last 11 years we have donated over $130,000 and gathered more than 13,000 lbs of food at Fury for a Feast!

The Verve Pipe has spent the better part of three decades in evolution, creating a sound that transcends genre and generation.

It's a sound rooted in pop hooks, alt-rock guitars, and the sharp songwriting of front man Brian Vander Ark. A sound that's taken the band from the golden days of late-'90s modern rock — when The Verve Pipe enjoyed multi-platinum success with hits like "Photograph" and the chart-topping "The Freshmen" — to the rule-breaking creativity of the 2010s and beyond, an era that's found the band reinventing itself with each release. Throughout it all, The Verve Pipehas released critically acclaimed music as both a major-label act and an independent band, maintaining a commitment to forward-thinking rock & roll with albums like 2021's Threads.

The four-man band plays good time rock ‘n’ roll, recommended for ages 8-88. Among the members’ influences include Elvis, James Brown, Van Halen, AC/DC, the Kinks, KISS and ’60s Frat Rock, with a bit of psychedelic-infused intrigue. Check out their greatest hit, “Your Love Will Rot My Brain” and you’ll get an idea for the rock fury they unfurl ever so politely.

Social Bones formed in 2010 as a combined force of veteran musicians from various incarnations of the band, Baked Potato.

The band’s live show teems with improvisational jams that weave one song into another, creating a unique live experience for the fans every time they play. With a multitude of covers from classic rock to modern rock, to blues, reggae, country, disco, soul, funk, and bluegrass, they always leave the crowd satisfied.

Each member is also a strong songwriter in his own right, and the band’s original songs are lyrically intricate, with catchy melodies and robust musicianship. Social Bones is a live music juggernaut that consistently dishes up an infectious party vibe at every show.

The Hourlies are four Detroit scene vets that all reside somewhere in the space between garage
rock, blues, punk, and psyche rock. The result is blues guitar hooks, played at the speed of punk, with
just enough psychedelic chaos to keep things interesting.

Active Faith Community Services (Our new next door neighbors!!)

In 1987 ten local pastors started Active Faith as a Christian non-denominational, non-discriminating, licensed, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Active Faith Community Services has worked with low-income households residing within our 83 square miles rural school district. We were established as a food pantry and clothing closet and we have never veered from that original mission. By achieving our goal to help individuals become self-sufficient, we realize that it is only as we help others that we succeed.

Blessings in a Backpack – South Lyon Chapter is a “neighbor-helping-neighbor” program that is designed to help bridge the gap of the nutritional needs of children from the South Lyon Community School District. In the South Lyon Schools 1,199 children are eligible for this program. These children are our neighbors. Each week, we will distribute backpacks filled with enough non-perishable food for the weekend to students that qualify on the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. The goal of Blessings in a Backpack is to keep these students from going hungry on the weekends and remove barriers to academic success.
